for having an overview on the number of steps I walk every day, I bought a Fitness Tracker. it’s interesting to see how often you are sitting for a long time without any movement. since I have a Fitness Tracker, I walk a lot more than before. your Fitness Tracker reminds you to walk, if you are sitting too much. it’s recommended to walk at least 10’000 steps per day. it’s easier than you think to reach or surpass this goal. I make myself walk every distance I can. for example I get of the tram or bus one stop before my destination and walk. at lunchtime I do a little walk with some stretching exercises in a nearby park.
I use my FitBit only for the daily life. for intensive sport trainings I have another sport watch, because my Fitbit isn’t made for swimming.
